 BAHAMA SHUTTERS:

A Tropical Appearance

The Solaroll Bahama Shutter is most efficient for windows with South and West exposures,  In direct sunlight even on a cool day the room becomes uncomfortable. This shutter allows you to keep the windows open letting air and light in, while keeping the heat out.

Hurricane Protection

The Bahama is an awning type shutter hinged at the top: It is similar to the Colonial Shutter, with decorative louvers which almost always improve the appearance of a home.

Simplicity of Design

Constructed in one piece and hung from above the Bahama Shutter can be adusted by telescoping arms at each side to allow for maximum shade and air flow control

 Quick Storm Preparation

The Bahama Shutter provides maximum hurricane protection eliminating the need for ordinary storm panels. By releasing the telescopic arms on each side, the shutter may be dropped into the storm position and fastened quickly at the bottom with lug hardware that is positioned to match the shutter brackets. Then just a twist of the wing-nuts and your ready for the storm

 When Privacy Matters

Viewing from the interior allows an individual to see outside with this type of shutter, even when closed. Yet from the outside there is no view to the inside. With windows open or closed the Bahama still allows privacy.

A Three Dimensional Shutter

The Bahama Shutter protrudes out from the window that it covers creating a three dimensional effect that no other shutter creates. Architecturally this serves as an added dimension
